Securing your website with an SSL certificate encrypts visitor data, removes "Not Secure" browser warnings, and improves your search engine ranking. We provide free, browser-trusted Let's Encrypt certificates to all customers.
This guide walks you through the quick process of issuing and installing your free certificate directly inside your control panel.
Before You Begin
Please make sure Your domain name is pointed to our nameservers. If you recently changed your nameservers, wait for DNS propagation to complete before requesting a certificate.
Step 1: Navigate to the SSL Menu
-
Log in to your control panel dashboard.
-
Locate the Account Manager section.
- Click on the SSL Certificates option.
Step 2: Choose the Automated Provider Options
At the very top menu of the SSL page, click on the tab labeled Get automatic certificate from ACME Provider.
Configure the interface configuration panel using these precise settings:
- ACME Provider: Select Let's Encrypt from the drop-down menu.
- Common Name: Enter your main domain name (e.g., yourdomain.com).
- Crucial Note: Do not include www. or any protocol tags like http:// or https:// in this field.
- E-mail: Provide your active email address to receive renewal notifications.
- Key Size (bits): Leave this set to the default values.
- Certificate Type: Ensure SHA256 is selected.
Step 3: Select Your Target Domain Entries
Scroll down to the Certificate Entries checklist. You must explicitly check the boxes for your root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) and the www alias (e.g., ://yourdomain.com).

Step 4: Finalize and Issue
- Click the green SAVE button in the lower-right corner.
- Our platform will communicate with Let's Encrypt to validate your ownership and deploy the certificate automatically.
Once activated, your certificate will automatically renew behind the scenes with no manual intervention required.
Step 5: Verify the Installation
- Open a new browser tab and visit your website using the secure protocol (e.g.,
https://yourdomain.com). - Look at the browser address bar and click on the padlock icon next to your URL.
- Verify the status message displays "Connection is secure" to confirm your SSL certificate is active and working perfectly.
- Alternatively, you can visit lankadomain.com and use the free SSL checker tool to instantly verify that your certificate is active and working perfectly.
