Overview of DNS Options
There are two DNS services available:
1. Basic DNS Hosting (Powered by Cloudflare)
A DNS solution powered by Cloudflare for improved performance and reliability.
- Simple and easy to use
- Suitable for basic websites and email configurations
- Does not include advanced performance features
- Managed via Cloud DNS Manager in your client area
2. Advanced DNS Hosting
An advanced DNS service used to manage advanced DNS records, mail forwards, DNS Failover checks, and web redirects.
- Faster global DNS resolution
- Higher reliability and uptime
- Does not include advanced performance features
- Recommended for better speed and stability
Option 1: Basic DNS Hosting (Cloudflare)
How to Purchase Cloudflare DNS Hosting
- Log in to your Provider.lk Client Area
- Go to Domains → Select your domain
- Go to Addons under the “Manage” section in the left navigation bar.
- Click on Cloud DNS Hosting (Cloudflare)
- Complete the purchase

- Log in to your Provider.lk Client Area
- Go to Categories
- Select Cloud DNS
- Click on DNS Hosting
- Complete the purchase
