An additional FTP accounts are helpful if you want to provide limited access for your developer or a third party to your files/directories.
You have to first login in to your cPanel, and start on the home screen.
- Click the FTP Accounts icon.
- To create a new FTP account, enter a new login and password.
- You can specify the document root that the new FTP user can access under Directory
- You can also set q Quota if required. This is the maximum upload limit.
- Then click Create FTP Account.
That's it! The new FTP account has been created. You can then change the FTP account's password, quota, or delete the account.
