Configuring your email client for Basic Email Hosting

To add your email address to your email client, such as Outlook, Apple Mail, and Thunderbird, you need to use the following settings:

Configuring incoming email servers

IMAP
Server: mail.<domain>.<tld> (mail.yourdomain.com, for example) OR mailcloud.pvtwebs.com
Port: 993 (SSL) / 143 (non-SSL)
Username: Your complete email address, like [email protected]
Password: The password you have set when creating this email address
Encryption: SSL/TLS recommended

POP
Server: mail.<domain>.<tld> (mail.yourdomain.com, for example) OR mailcloud.pvtwebs.com
Port: 995 (SSL) / 110 (non-SSL)
Username: Your complete email address, like [email protected]
Password: The password you have set when creating this email address
Encryption: SSL/TLS recommended

Recommendation: Use IMAP instead of POP3 for syncing across multiple devices.

Configuring outgoing email server

Server: mail.<domain>.<tld> (mail.yourdomain.com, for example) OR mailcloud.pvtwebs.com
Port: 465 (SSL) / 587 (STARTTLS)
Encryption: SSL/TLS recommended
Username: Your complete email address, like [email protected]

Please make sure "yourdomain.com" is replaced with the exact domain name that you are using with this hosted email solution.

If you’re using an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can quickly set up your email by downloading a configuration profile from your control panel. To do this, go to your list of email accounts, click the “+” icon, and select "Download Apple iOS/iPadOS/macOS Configuration".
