Web Publishing with Web Deploy via Visual Studio

Our Plesk shared hosting supports Web Deploy publishing. It allows you to use Visual Studio to publish your website via FTP or Web Deploy. It's highly recommended to use FTP to upload the website contents to the server.

After Web Deploy is enabled for a website in your Plesk panel, you can download your publishing profile.

Username/password for Web Deploy: They should be your Plesk panel login username/password.

Service URL: https://server-hostname:8172/MsDeploy.axd?site=your-website-domain

When you use Web Deploy to publish website, Visual Studio may change some website settings that would lead to have errors in Plesk panel.

Note: It's high recommended to always have a backup of your website before publish a new update to the server.
