How to undo changes and restore website snapshots? Print

  • 0

The AI Website Builder allows you to undo changes and save snapshots of your website.

Undoing Changes

Every AI change can be undone. If you want to reverse a recent change:

  1. Click Undo.
  2. The previous change will be reversed.

You can undo multiple changes if required.

Redoing a Change

If you undo a change and want to apply it again, use the Redo option (or press Cmd+Shift+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) to reapply the change.

Saving a Snapshot

Snapshots are full saves of your entire site at a specific moment - like taking a photo of your site, so you can return to it later.

To create a snapshot:

  1. Click the Snapshot button in the chat status bar.
  2. Enter a name for the snapshot.
  3. Save the snapshot.

Restoring a Snapshot

To restore a previous version of your website:

  1. Open the Designs section and open the History section.
  2. Find the snapshot you want to restore.
  3. Select Restore.

The website will be restored to the saved version.

Limits: Up to 50 snapshots are kept. Up to 100 undo steps are stored. Both are managed automatically - you don't need to do anything.

Before trying something bold: Create a manual snapshot first. That way, if you don't like the result, you can restore in one click rather than undoing step by step.
