[Server Maintenace Notice] Important - Migration of Plesk-US-huayra

Estimated end date: 5th of Dec, 2019

End time: 11:30:00 GMT +5:30 (local time of Sri Lanka)

Reason: Improve the performance and and mitigate security risks

Impact: No downtime expected, however please make sure your deployed site is compatible with latest software (refer below information)

Business Reason
Recently we have notified some performance degrades of the Plesk-US-huayra server, we also noticed that some dependencies on OS level are blocking us from upgrading/patching the software stack. We are happy to inform that we have planned a maintenance window to migrate the hosted accounts to a brand new server with the following specifications;

• Latest Plesk Obsidian Panel (Previous server is running with Plesk Onyx Panel)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016‬ (Previous server is running with Windows Server 2012)
• Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz
• DDR3 ECC Memory
• Pure SSD RAID1 Protected Disks
• Protection against DDoS attacks

Changes to the software stack
The below software versions are deployed on the new server and please make sure you do not have hard dependencies on any legacy software;

• Microsoft SQL Server : MSSQLSERVER2017 14.0.1000.169 (previously we used the version 2012)
• Database Connector: MySQL Connector/ODBC 5.3.13
• .NET Core: Microsoft ASP.NET Core Module 12.2.19169.0, Microsoft ASP.NET Core Module V2 12.2.19169.0, Microsoft .NET Core 2.1 Runtime 2.1.12, Microsoft .NET Core 2.2 Runtime 2.2.6
• MySQL Server: MariaDB 10.3 10.3.17.0
• Web Scripting: ASP 10.0.14393.2758, ASP.NET 4.6.2, FastCGI Support 10.0.14393.0[Active], PHP 7.3.12[Active], SSI 10.0.14393.0
• URL Rewrite: IIS URL Rewrite Module 2 7.2.1980
• Web Publishing: Microsoft Web Deploy 4.0 10.0.1994
• Web Server: Microsoft IIS 10.0

If you have any dependency on another software version and it's not end of life (EOL = Actively being supported by the official vendor), please drop us an email to [email protected] or open a ticket.

Important notice for customers/resellers
Our customers who are using our nameserver entries will not to do any change. However the access IP address will be changed as follows;
Ples URL: https://wincluster1.pvtwebs.com:8443

Server IP: 207.180.232.239

If you are using private nameservers, please change your child nameserver records and A record as follows;
dns1/ns1 - 207.180.232.239
dns2/ns2 - 207.180.232.239

If you will experience any outage, please drop us an email to [email protected] or open a ticket. After the migration, please get back to us within 72 hours if you notice any data loss.
